In recent years, Houzejia Village in Fengcheng Town, Yangcheng County, Jinzhong City, Shanxi Province, known as the "hometown of glass," has vigorously protected the national intangible cultural heritage of "Qiao Family Glassmaking Techniques." To promote the traditional glass industry, villagers in Houzejia Village have established 16 glass production enterprises through various forms such as joint investment and partnership. They have also provided more than 500 job opportunities for nearby farmers, producing 150 million glass products annually with a total output value of 375 million yuan.

The design inspiration is drawn from the 'glazing' process in the production of glazed ceramics. A brick-red base reminiscent of terracotta is overlaid with a shell capturing the luster of glazed ceramics. Just like the freshly forged clay emerging from the kiln, adorned with a glossy and vibrant glaze, the linear fluidity of the architecture resembles the splashed glaze flowing from the Tang and Song dynasties to the Ming and Qing dynasties. It meanders away, gradually disappearing into the undulating loess land on the side. This design not only symbolizes the ancient glass industry, which is revitalized by the park, but also encapsulates the enduring spirit that the people of Shanxi have gleaned from change throughout history.
